Bethesda Health Clinic

Who We Are

Bethesda Health Clinic is a Christ-centered ministry with a bold mission: to provide affordable, high-quality care for those in need in Smith County, Texas. We envision our clinic as embodying Christ in action – bringing healing and hope to the people we serve.

Before Bethesda, those in need had to go to a local hospital’s emergency room for medical care. Our state-of-the-art facility eases the burden on local ERs while serving a neglected segment of our population in a professional and dignified environment.

What We Do

Bethesda offers primary- and specialty-care health services and programs. Today, about 285 primary care physicians and specialists, along with some 85 nurses, volunteer their services. Moreover, local hospitals provide ancillary testing on a rotating basis. The clinic’s professional medical staff and volunteer professionals are further supported by about 280 non-medical community volunteers.
